The Dominick is one of SoHo's quiet heavyweights — a big, comfortable luxury hotel that doesn't shout, with one of the more generous spa setups downtown. The sauna and steam room sit within a sprawling spa that also gives you an indoor lap pool and, in season, a rooftop pool with skyline views. It's less of a scene than some of its neighbours, which is rather the point: you come here to actually use the facilities, not to be seen using them. Rooms are large by Manhattan standards, with floor-to-ceiling windows and proper city views. For value-to-square-footage on the wellness side, it's among the best in the area — a real spa, not a token one. Sauna access is included for guests; check rooftop pool hours, which are seasonal.
