The Standard runs a proper co-ed hydrotherapy sequence on Belle Isle — hemlock sauna into hammam into aroma steam, then the ice room and the arctic plunge, with a Roman waterfall hot tub and a bay-facing infinity pool to finish. It is the one place in the city built around bathing rather than treatments, and the crowd treats it that way. The hotel itself is low-slung and unbothered, a short causeway from South Beach without being in it.
